12 Hole Tenor Ocarina "Aria"

Product Description

STL is proud to present an ocarina designed by the winner of our first Star Search Competition, Cris Gale.

Since winning, she has performed internationally, held solo concerts, and recorded her debut album. The Aria design is a culmination of her 13 years playing and collecting ocarinas. Its form, while aesthetically beautiful, is designed with ergonomics in mind. The long tapered shape allows for easy transitioning between high and low notes, and the longer mouthpiece provides greater hand comfort and tone stability. While this ocarina is designed for advanced techniques, a beginner can start with the Aria and grow into its potential.

This ocarina has a matte finish. It is about 7.5 inches long, accurately tuned in the key of C Major, with a pitch range of 13 notes. It also has the capability of performing sharps and flats.

We have included an instructional booklet, as well as our new songbook, Songs by John Dowland, with this ocarina. If you would like to have a different songbook instead, simply leave a note at the "comment" section when you check out. We'll be happy to switch it for you.
