    Difficult at first but very fair and rewarding, and absurdly comfortable

    This pancarina is fantastic. It doesn’t have quite the resonance of the standard ocarina I bought, but it is a lot more consistent. It’s very easy to get your exact note, the fingerings are intuitive, and the intonation is fantastic. You definitely need some decent breath pressure which also means the instrument is a twinge louder, but because of the weaker resonance, it means it has about the same carrying potential as a flute. This is also miles more comfortable to hold than a standard ocarina by a significant margin. The lack of back holes makes it very easy to hold in your hand, and the light groves between each hole makes switching chambers rather intuitive and approachable despite the difficulty. As someone new to the ocarina, this was a fantastic purchase, and I’m so happy to have bought from STL because the build quality is just fantastic.

    Very cool design

    I am a super huge fan of STL ocarinas and this one is no exception. Lovely tone and easy to play. All registers feel evenly balanced and effortless. The range is about a triple and the mastering of the fingerings take some getting used to, but once you do it makes for some beautil music to play on this and enjoy.
